Our story

We raise happy and friendly, naturally colored merino sheep on a small farm in southern Maryland. We spin our fleece at a local fiber mill, though we also buy in other yarn bases for dyeing to meet demand and add variety. Our sheep produce fine merino fiber with a micron range from 17 to 22. The finer fiber is used in our hand dyed yarn for superior next-to-skin comfort while the courser fiber fleece is made into dryer balls and felt products or wool pellets.

The farm is also home to two rambunctious cows who let you know what's on their minds, and our ever-patient livestock guardian dog.

We source botanicals for our spa products from the wildflower meadows which also provide pollen and nectar for our honey bees.

Thanks for stopping by the store. We hope you find something you like.
